Colin Reed will present an overview of WHOI’s operations and contributions to oceanographic research. WHOI is dedicated to advancing knowledge of the ocean and its connection with the Earth system through a sustained commitment to excellence in science, engineering, and education, and to the application of this knowledge to problems facing society.

Colin Reed is the Director of Community Relations and Engagement at WHOI. Colin brings WHOI’s message to audiences all over the Cape and New England. Originally from Vermont, Colin returned to New England in 2015 to join WHOI after working for the Consortium for Ocean Leadership in Washington DC for 12 years.
